About Me

'Mitsu Cake', written in Japanese, is '蜜ケーキ (honey cake)'. In romaji, mitsu (honey) can also be interpreted as 密. Although 密 by itself means 'dense' in Japanese, it is the 'mitsu' of 'himitsu (secret)'. The same 密 also appears in the word 秘密 (meaning 'secret' in Chinese).

So my full blog title 'A Slice of Mitsu Cake' describes this blog as a slice of my supposedly honey-sweet life, yet at the same time it's filled with unspoken secrets.

There. I just put together an in-depth explanation of my blog's name when I actually just liked the name "Mitsu" combined with "cake". *shrug*

Anyway, I guess I'll briefly talk about what kind of a person I am:

I'm a very shy and quiet girl - the one who lurks in the corner in every group. I've never talked much, which is why I made this blog to express what I really think and how I really feel.

I'm 17 years old and attending secondary school like every other teenager.

I enjoy taking and editing photographs, putting on makeup, doing my hair, dressing up, shopping for pretty clothes, and other girly things like that. I have my girly and tomboy-ish moments (sometimes I like male clothes, and sometimes I like frilly dresses), and I'm a bit of a ranter as you can see from reading my blog.

By the way, I never get mad when people I don't know well comment on any of my entries (even the angry-sounding ones) so feel free to say what you think. I like a good conversation and reading comments. Random followers are also welcomed! :D

I like:
  • Daydreaming and drifting away from reality.
  • Typing rants and making them sound dramatic.
  • Talking to people that I can trust.
  • Yummy food.

I dislike:
  •  Fakers; people who change their personality just to fit in with a group, people who think they're someone who they're not, people who pretend to be someone else, etc.
  • Arrogant people who think too highly of themselves.
  • Being blamed for something I didn't do.
  • People that can't be trusted; fake 'friends', backstabbers, liars, rumour-spreaders, etc.
  • Illogicality.
  • Hypocrites.
^If any of these apply to you, please just go away.
